Rethinking Retirement - How to Create the Life You Want Without Waiting to Retire

Most of us dream of retirement as the time in our lives when we'll finally be able to do what we've always wanted to do - but why do you have to wait? Rethinking Retirement helps you create the life you want now. By challenging traditional notions of how our lives are "supposed" to go, former financial advisor Keith Weber offers a new path for creating freedom, balance, purpose and passion in your life.

Recounting his own "wake-up call" experience as well as those of many of his clients, Keith will help you:

Recognize your true priorities.

Define a clear vision of the life you want.

Recognize the true role of money in your life.

Use the financial and personal resources you have to make that life real.

Rethinking Retirement is packed with engaging stories, insightful self-discovery exercises and practical, down-to-earth financial education and advice. For the next generation of retirees and those already retired, Rethinking Retirement will help you create a richer and more rewarding life.

Rethinking Retirement

by Keith J. Weber

For the financial Condor, the belief that the world of money is a force all its own that can be observed but not controlled, provides them an excuse for their lack of money. Condors " usually subconsciously " believe the world of wealth is beyond both their reach and control. As such, any attempt to manage that world is futile. Condors will say there is no point in attempting to accumulate wealth as the natural order of the universe dictates they remain in their poor and downtrodden position. They often feel helpless in managing their resources and feel they either don t need or deserve anything beyond what s required to meet their basic needs. This belief often expresses itself in comments like, I don t need money to be happy, or Those who have money must have compromised their ethics to get it. Since they feel they cannot control the world of money, Condors tend to sit back and let things take care of themselves.
